CodeComp ™

CodeComp 4.0 is a tool developed for the State of Oregon to demonstrate compliance with the Simplified Trade-Off Approach (STA) specified in code. CodeComp may be required if a building exceeds the prescriptive window-to-exterior wall area allowance or if reduced insulation levels are desired for any of the building envelope components. Because of its added complexity, CodeComp should only be used if the building cannot be made to comply with the Prescriptive Compliance path. Seattle EnvStd

Seattle-ENVSTD is a tool developed for the City of Seattle to demonstrate envelope compliance for nonresidential (other than Group R occupancy) buildings. Learn more. [offsite link]

VisualPlant™

VisualPlant is a central plant energy analysis tool. VisualPlant reads a load profile from a library or a user data file (which can be created by VisualDOE™) and performs energy analysis for up to 99 plant design alternatives. VisualPlant is included in the VisualDOE package.
 

HiLight

Hilight is a lighting code compliance program developed by AEC for the Hawaii Model Energy Code. The software is designed to aid lighting designers in determining and documenting compliance with the code's lighting requirements. Free HiLight Downloads.

GuamSoft

GEM™

Global Energy Master (GEM) is a tool developed for Owens Corning. GEM enables sales engineers to evaluate the cost effectiveness of insulation, windows and other energy efficiency measures in residential and commercial buildings. The program has data for about 4,800 United States locations, 1,200 Canadian locations and 3,700 international locations, although users may add data for other locations if it is available.

CoolTools™
